Informatie voor de pers
Takecarebnb (https://takecarebnb.org/) brings refugees with a permit into contact with host families who open their homes for a refugee for three months. Until a house has been found, he / she will continue to live in an asylum seekers’ center (AZC). These centers are spread all over the country, but at the same time isolated from Dutch society: refugees have limited contact with the Dutch language, culture and customs during that period.
The COA (Centraal Opvang Asielzoekers) offers a lodging arrangement of max three months. Takecarebnb carefully links refugees and host families. Takecarebnb contributes to the integration process of the refugee and offers host families the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to helping refugees.
