Als matchmaker gebruik je jouw expertise en ervaring om een goede match te maken tussen een gast en een gastgezin. Dit doe je in de regio waar jij woont. Dankzij jouw werk krijgt een statushouder de beste start in Nederland en beleeft het gastgezin een unieke ervaring.

Tasks

The starting point for matching is that the guest and the host family have a good time together. This works very well thanks to our careful matching process. We aim for a match in the status holder’s future area of residence. But just as important are the background, wishes and expectations of the guest and host family. You will get a good idea of them through the conversations you have. After the match, you will remain the contact person (at a distance) during the entire stay. And towards the end you will organise the evaluation or a conversation about what’s next.

Support

Every matchmaker collaborates with a coordinator who keeps an overview of all applications of guests and host families from our central office in Amsterdam. So you always have someone to trade ideas with. We regularly have team days and master classes and we offer the ability to attend intervision sessions. You will work independently after your training period but you will be able to contact matchmaking colleagues.
